Terms of Service.
These terms govern your use of the Context Move desktop application and the Context Move browser extension. Installing or using either means you accept them.
01Licence
Context Move is proprietary software. Subject to these terms, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Context Move for personal and commercial purposes, free of charge.
02Restrictions
- You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense or repackage Context Move as your own product without written permission.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it.
- You may not remove or obscure any proprietary notice.
- You may not use Context Move for any unlawful purpose, or to capture content you have no right to access.
03Your content
Context Move is local-first. Conversations, summaries and files you capture stay on your machine and remain entirely yours. We claim no ownership of, and have no access to, anything you store in Context Move. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to capture and store the conversations you save, and for complying with the terms of the AI services you capture from.
04Third-party services
Two optional features connect to services operated by others: Google Drive, if you enable backup, and GitHub, which the update check queries for new releases. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, pricing, conduct or changes. If a third party discontinues or restricts a service, the corresponding Context Move feature may stop working.
Context Move runs no AI models and sends your conversations to no model provider. Nothing in these terms grants us, or anyone else, a right to use your captured content.
05Availability and updates
Context Move is provided as-is and may be updated, changed or discontinued at any time. Because the application runs locally, an existing installation continues to work on your machine regardless; features depending on third-party services may not.
6. No warranty. Context Move is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.
7. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Context Move. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
08Termination
This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the software. Your local data is unaffected by termination and remains on your machine for you to keep or delete.
09Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continuing to use Context Move after a revision constitutes acceptance.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
